Fernandico Aquino-Umayam Gonong Sr.
While his father, a Paoay-born and who was teaching at Davao, Fernandico Jr. was born. After 5 years, the family moved back to Poaoy, Ilocos, Norte, where he was raised. He went to Elementary School in Currimao. He attended High School in Mariano Marcos State University in Paoay, Illocos Norte. In college, and in 1978 he enrolled and took Bachelor of Science in Architecture in University of Northern Philippines (UNP), in Vigan. He went to work with Jorge Y. Ramos and assoc.(Architects & Interior Designer), and at the same time, he continued his degree at Manuel L. Quezon University in Manila. At MLQU, he competed at the National and International Architectural Design Competition, winning several awards. In addition, he was awarded as an Honor Student. After graduating in 1985, he took the licensesure and the board exam the same year.Few Notable Projects inclued,The Fort Ilocandia-Laoag;Phil.Lung Center,Kidney Center-Phil.,Lung Center-Phil.,(PGH)Phil.Gen. Hospital-Mla.,GSIS & Senate Bldg.-Roxas Blv.,Malacanang of the North-Paoay,Renovation of Malacanang Palace-Phil.,Puerto Azul Golf & country Club-Cavite and others. Two years after, he married his high school sweetheart and classmate, Grace Orcino-Flores-Toledo Macalma-Fontanilia Sadumiano Gonong of Paoay. After their marriage, they went to work in Saudi Arabia for His HRH Prince Salman Bin Abdul-Aziz and Dammam General Hospital respectively in the past 10 years. They moved to the United States to continue their adventure. Fernandico, or Jun as they nickname him, continues to pursue his career in Architecture here in LA, working with Giannetti Architects, as Project Architect,Hablinski Architecture , Landry Design Group, and Getman Master Planning LA as Project Manager. He now lives with his wife, Grace, a Registered Nurse in the State of California. They are blessed with three children named Diana, Richard and Grachelle.

Grace was born on January 4, 1961 in Paoay, Ilocos Norte. She is the youngest in the family. She has 4 sisters and 3 brothers.

Diana Patricia Anne Sadumiano Gonong
Diana was born on October 11, 1990 in Batac, Ilocos Norte. She is the oldest of the 3 kids. When she was in nursery and kindergarten, she was awarded many trophies and medals for her outstanding achievements and talents. In addition, she was also part of the girls scout, and had field trips all over Northern Philippines. Then, she attended Paoay Central Elementary School until the 5th grade. In the year 2001, Diana, Richard, and their aunt, Evangeline Sadumiano, traveled to the United States of America. There, Diana and her brother will live with their parents, including Grachelle. She continued her 5th grade year at Cahuenga Elementary School. The she went she went to Ralph Waldo Emerson Middle School. She was part of the school's orchestra. She played the flute and was given solo parts. When she graduated, she was awarded Honor Student for having 4.0 GPAs and good behavior. She was not only a regular student, but she was also the drum major in her school. She led many parades and even competed in some competitions, winning several trophies and certificates. She learned many things in middle school, thanks to her music teacher, Mr. John Lanni. This 18 year old attended University High School. She took part of the school's Filipino Club. She will be off to college on August 2009. Diana loves to hang out with her friends, watch movies, listening to music, and of course, every girl's favorite priority, shopping.
Richard Sadumiano Gonong
Richard was born on August 21, 1992 in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. When he was still a baby, his parents brought him to the Philippines and there he was raised. While his parents were in the United States, his aunt, Evangeline Sadumiano, took care of him and her sister Diana. He started preschool at the age of 5. He then became a kindergarten student. He was a well-behaved child, receiving the First honor awards in both preschool and kindergarten. He then moved to elementary school in Paoay Central, where his sister attended. Then in October 2001, him, his sister, and his aunt moved to the United States to live with their parents. Here he continued 3rd grade in Cahuenga Elementary School recieving numerous awards of excelent. He was also a member of the school's orchestra. For junior high, he attended John Burroughs Middle School. In addition, he continued to play instruments by being part of his school's band. He was chosen as the student of the month. He graduated in June 2007 and moved on to Alexander Hamilton High School. Richard loves to play music especially his favorite instrument, the electric guitar. Other instruments that he knows how to play are the alto saxophone, soprano saxophone, the piano, and the clarinet. Richard enjoys hanging out with his friends.
Grachelle Sadumiano Gonong
Grachelle was born on December 9, 1994 in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. She was raised in the Philippines, where she lived until she was 2 years old. Then she moved to the United States with her mom to live with her dad. In October 1997, she attended daycare/preschool. She always went to school everyday and she received "Perfect Attendance Awards". In September 2001, she started Elementary School at Brentwood Science Magnet School. She participated in many school activities, including 2 years of participating in the Academic Decathlon in the 4th and 5th grade and running for Student Body Secretary in Spring of 5th grade. She received medals, trophies, and certificates. Finally, she graduated in the year 2006, leading her to middle school. Grachelle enrolled in John Burroughs Middle School for 6th grade in September 2006. There she went to school with her brother. She was also accepted to attend John Hopkins University in the future. She is now 14 years old and will be going to High School on September of 2009. Grachelle enjoys playing the guitar, using the computer, listening to music, watching movies, and hanging out with her friends. Her priorities this year is to learn how to play the drums and handle anything that's coming her way.
